Pawfect Witness™ began by creating meaningful ways for animals to be included, acknowledged, and remembered in wedding ceremonies. Today, that idea is growing beyond weddings through animal-focused gatherings, public projects, and the Dandelion Space.

Before Pawfect Witness™ had a name
Fi Chai was the only one standing with us.
Our own wedding had no guests and no wedding party. Fi Chai was the only one there. He was not there as decoration. He was there because he was family.
That experience stayed with us. Years later, it became the foundation of Pawfect Witness™ in wedding ceremonies.
How the story continued
Pawfect Witness™ in Weddings
Animals already belong in the story.
An animal may walk down the aisle, carry the rings, leave a paw print, or be acknowledged through a photograph, a name, or a moment of remembrance.
The meaning comes from recognizing a relationship that already matters.

Then the meaning grew.
Through Fagu and Maji, we saw more clearly how many people may stand behind one animal who reaches safety. Rescuers, veterinary teams, foster families, transporters, volunteers, organizations, and individuals who each made part of their journey possible.
Pawfect Witness™ began asking a wider question: how can we continue to acknowledge animal lives, and the people whose care supports them, beyond a wedding ceremony?

The first public project
Wangwang Memorial Bench Vancouver
Established through the City of Richmond commemorative bench program, this project honours Wangwang, her three puppies, and other animal lives that may otherwise remain unseen. It also offers a public place for people who care about animals to pause.

For Those Who Care
Not every act of care is seen.
Pawfect Witness™ acknowledges the rescuers, foster families, veterinary teams, volunteers, organizations, adopters, and individuals whose care allows animal lives to be supported, protected, and remembered.
The work can be tiring. You are not carrying it alone.
