Our concern includes the animals beside us, those still waiting for safety, wildlife living beyond our sight, and lives that may never be named or known to us.
An animal does not need to be seen by us, loved by us, or connected to us before their life deserves respect.
A respect carried into everyday life
Respect is not an extra action.
It is a way of moving through the world with an awareness that our lives exist alongside other lives. It lives quietly in what we notice, the choices we make, and the consideration we carry even when no one is watching.
Not everyone will care in the same way or take the same action. What matters is carrying that consideration beyond the lives most familiar to us.
