More than having a pet at your wedding
Having an animal at a wedding can be joyful. Pawfect Witness™ goes beyond bringing a pet to the ceremony, dressing them for photographs, or asking them to carry the rings.
It begins with a different question:
What place has this animal held in your relationship?
They may have been there from the beginning. They may have helped turn two separate lives into one home. They may have offered comfort during a difficult chapter, brought daily routines into your life, or taught you how to care for someone together.
Their place in your relationship is not an extra detail.
For many couples, it is an irreplaceable part of the life they are choosing to continue through marriage.

During the ceremony, we create a dedicated moment to acknowledge the animal and the place they hold within your family.
This may include words about the life you have shared, the ways they have shaped your relationship, and a blessing for the bond that continues between you.
The focus is not on asking the animal to perform, but on acknowledging the place they already hold in the relationship.
They are acknowledged because they belong in the story.

The Paw Print Unity Certificate
As part of the Pawfect Witness™ experience, your animal can place their paw print on a separate Unity Certificate created as a keepsake.
This is not the legal marriage certificate.
It is a personal record of a life and relationship acknowledged on your wedding day.
The paw print turns a ceremony moment into something you can hold onto. Long after the wedding, it remains a reminder that your marriage began with an animal you love visibly included in the story.

They do not have to be physically present
Some animals attend the wedding. Others cannot be there because of age, health, travel, venue restrictions, or because they have already passed away.
Pawfect Witness™ is centred on the relationship, not physical attendance.
An animal may be acknowledged through ceremony wording, a photograph, a keepsake, a meaningful object, a paw print collected at another time, or another form that feels honest to their place in your life.
Presence can take more than one form.

Begin with the relationship
Every Pawfect Witness™ ceremony begins by learning about the animal, the life you share, and why their place in your marriage matters to you.
The ceremony moment, blessing, and keepsake are then shaped around that relationship.
Animals do not understand a wedding timeline, and they do not need to perform the moment perfectly. We allow space for their comfort, personality, and natural response while keeping the ceremony calm and supported.
The experience is guided with care, so the acknowledgement feels meaningful without placing pressure on the animal or the couple.
